Not knowing when new files are not seen so not in compare list is worrisome. So this is fixed but I am concerned why it happened. I did not change anything, so not sure why it worked today, but did not yesterday (including disconnecting/reconnecting phone, rebooting windows, etc.). A synchronize copied the differences and new compare found none. While installing, the setup wizard lets you install it in portable mode, so use that option if needed. Surprisingly, today it worked and found about a dozen files that were new/changed. You can download FreeFileSync from its official website. I reattached and restarted FFS to do another compare to provide you results from your statements. This set of folder pairs are between a laptop and cell phone. ![]() It allows users to create and manage backup copies of files.
